Bmosaic Downtown Glass Mosaics

Intentionally crafted with an uneven surface and with variations in their color shade, Bmosaic Downtown Glass Mosaic tiles project the illusion of a three-dimensional surface when installed. Light reflected on the tiles causes this impression and can have a dramatic effect.
The individual tiles of the Downtown blend come in two sizes –1-1/2 x 3/4 inches and 1-1/2 x 3/8 inches. Sizes are only approximate, but this lack of uniformity contributes to the character and appeal of the blend. The tiles are randomly arranged both relative to their sizes and their color variations. There was no attempt to create a patterned arrangement or to align those sections of the individual tiles that have the same shade.
The colors of the tiles come from a ceramic backing. This was high-fired in an oven to assure a strong bond with the glass tile and to create the desired color.
Owing to their uneven surface, the Bmosaic Downtown Glass Mosaics are not particularly suited for floors, except perhaps the floor of your shower room where you normally go in barefoot anyway. Instead, they are ideal for kitchen backsplashes and counters, bathroom walls, vanity tops, fireplace facade, or walls as highlights. Outdoors, they can be used liven up the walls of your swimming pool or the area surrounding it. Your spa or hot tub area can also use the Downtown mosaic tiles for more pizzazz.
Downtown mosaics come in three colors variations –the Aqua Downtown Glass Clear Mosaic, Nero Downtown Glass Matte Mosaic, and Ivory Downtown Glass Matte Mosaic. The Aqua reproduces the look of the sea with crystal clear waters reflecting the blue of the sky. The Nero presents a combination of dark gray and black. You can use this to create a contrast that emphasizes the vibrancy of your more colorful tiles. Though named Ivory, it includes shades of beige and cream, giving it a dainty and delicate look.
