Hakatai Emperia Series Glass and Stone Mosaic Tiles

The natural luster and brilliance of glass make it one of the best materials to brighten a dull and drab room. With modern production equipment and techniques, glass is now sufficiently strong and sturdy to be used for floors, not to mention the fact that they come in an almost endless array of colors and designs. Natural stone, on the other hand, continues to hold its own against other flooring materials. This is because they, too, are strong and sturdy. There are also many different types of stones with their own colors and designs. In addition, stones can add a touch of nature to your home. If you are having trouble deciding which of these fine and excellent materials to use, try the Hakatai Emperia Series Glass and Stone Mosaic Tiles and have the best of both worlds.
The Emperia Series consists of a combination of 1-7/8″ x 7/8″ mosaic tiles, with a thickness of ΒΌ”, cut from iridescent glass and natural stones. The juxtaposition of these two materials without a definite pattern results in a striking finish to your walls and even floors that is sure to catch the attention of your friends and guests.
The rectangular tiles are mounted on a mesh, aligned with each other, the natural stone tiles interspersed among the glass tiles. There are half as many stones as there are glass tiles, with all of them totaling up to 72 pieces. With a grout joint of about 1/8″, they cover an area of approximately one square foot.
Hakatai Emperia Series is available in four blends, Aurora, Laurel, Terra Cotta, and Celestial blends. The glass tiles in each of these blends come in two colors. To give them their color, their undersides have been fired with glaze.
The tiles are suitable for the kitchen and bathroom either as a sink backsplash or wall, for the spa and pool borders, and even for floors with light traffic. With the iridescent glass tiles, you will be seeing rainbow colors wherever a Hakatai Emperia Series Glass and Stone Mosaic Tiles are installed.
