Mosaic Source Tozen Glass Tile Series
Cut into trapezoids with only two parallel sides, the individual tiles of the Mosaic Source Tozen Glass Tile Series has one side that is obviously wider than the one at its opposite. The tiles are arranged in a way that a tile that has its wide end at the bottom is flanked by tiles whose narrow sides are positioned at the bottom; conversely, those whose lower ends are narrow are sandwiched between two tiles with wide bottoms. This pattern is repeated throughout the whole tile sheet.
The Tozen glass tiles contained in the tile sheets feature subdued complimentary colors, with each tile including irregular streaks of contrasting colors giving them a unique character. They are hand-poured which means that no two tiles have exact patterns of streaks, bubbles, creases, wrinkles, and waves. Colors, tones, shades, and sizes also vary from one tile to the next. These differences result in an attractive mix of brilliant reflections of all forms of light.
The tiles are glued to a paper backing that measures 12″ x 12″. This makes installing the tiles an easy task. Once set on the sub-floor with the proper adhesive, you only need to apply a thin film of water on the paper to soften it. After a short while, you can simply pull the paper off the tiles. If there are any stubborn pieces, you can remove them with a plastic scraper.
There are four types of Tozen glass tiles –Indium, Oxygen, Strontium, and Tin. All of these come in either natural or silk, with the former being more glossy than the latter.
